Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account on RichUx Academy or using our platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our platform.
2. Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Each person may maintain only one account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Subscription & Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. New users receive a 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required at signup. Your trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial period ends.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
We may change our pricing with 30 days' notice. If you are an existing subscriber, you will keep your current rate until your next renewal date.
4. Refund Policy
Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current period.
Free trials: If you were charged after failing to cancel before your trial ended, contact us within 7 days for a full refund.
Annual subscriptions: A prorated refund is available within the first 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, no refunds are issued, but you retain access for the remainder of your annual term.

5. Content & Intellectual Property
All course content, videos, articles, and materials on RichUx Academy are owned by Rich Ux Media Holdings LLC. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to access content while your subscription is active.
You may not share, redistribute, record, or resell any course content. Your portfolio content and project vault data remain your property.
6. AI Features
AI-powered features on RichUx Academy — including the chat assistant, practice conversations, and quiz generation — use third-party AI models provided by Anthropic (Claude). These features are for educational purposes only.
AI responses may contain inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content for your specific situation.
Your AI conversations are stored in our database to provide continuity across sessions. You may delete your conversation history at any time. We may use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the platform. We do not use your personal conversations or project data to train AI models.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass, spam, or abuse other users in comments or community features
- Share your account credentials with others
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or use automated tools to access the platform
- Attempt to circumvent access controls or security measures
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee specific results from using the courses or any content on the platform.
Rich Ux Media Holdings LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
